It's a great experience: they tried to provide a cage free zoo. I think it can be improved by planting some more trees and also putting signs and giving maps to visitors so that they can better plan their tour in the zoo
as well as some surprising species, there is an old man who seems to run the zoo and most of the days he walks through the ways to lairs and meets the animals even the brutal carnivores. that is a blessing to watch interaction of him with that gorgeous tiger. also there is a huge tent where you can walk along free flying birds and capture their unique moments by taking pictures.
The best zoo I have ever been to, even in comparison to the many zoos I have visited in the US. The interaction between the animals and the owner of the zoo is absolutely mind-blowing. To anybody who is visiting Iran: I highly recommend you visit this zoo, the Nature Village, in Qazvin.

I'll give five star because this zoo, maintain higher standard compare to other zoo's in iran. The slope of the land may make it difficult for elders and toddlers to enjoy the whole site. I recommend every body who pass karaj-qazvin highway to separate at least two hour to visit the zoo.
They have birds and different kind of animals which are really interesting but it's really warm in the summer
