The ancient Vakil bazaar (Bazar-e Vakil) lies near the Vakil mosque & is the finest bazaar of Shiraz, Iran. It consists of a series of vaulted brick avenues with courtyards, caravanserais, bath houses, & old shops. The Vakil bazaar is full of shops selling handicrafts, Persian rugs, carpets, scarves, spices & many other things. Bargaining is must if you want to buy rugs, carpets, or handicrafts.
Amazing bazaar in the heart of Shiraz. I wish I could afford to get everything shipped home! So many amazing handicrafts here, the detail in all the work is just so intricate.
