Tehran university of medical sciences Liver transplantation program was established in 2001 as the second center in the country.we gradually became a high volume center with more than 150 transplantation per year. During this 16 year period we performed about 700 liver transplantation. We also started pancreas transplantation in recent years. Our first fellowship program students are about to graduate in near future.
