I really like this place. It's one of a few places that you can get something different than usual fastfoods and restaurants. The owner of the restaurant is a kind Thai lady whom I met only once. The food is awesome, but most of the menu is hot/spicy food (personally I like hot food!) The fact that decorations and table/chairs are far from fancy, just adds to the positive/good feeling you'll have while eating there.
Very lovely to have a Thai restaurant around. Lots of options in the menu and in general it's delicious but not my favorite because compared to the Thai food I had in Thailand, it's 3 times more sweet. The price is fine and they serve big portions.
One of the few places in Tehran where you can get spicy food. Simple set up but tasty selection of Thai dishes. Seems popular with the locals. We stopped by the place on our way to the airport to fly back to Kuala Lumpur. We were craving for spicy food after 4 days of local fare (not that there's anything wrong with Iranian dishes). Someone in our group found the place via Google Maps and we decided to give it a try. Good decision.
Price is fair. Awesome thai foods. The taste is awesome. Somehow its localized to Iranians taste. The owner is iranian but lived in thai for a long time ( as he was telling his story) And cooks and waiters are from thai. Totally its really nice
Food is absolutely real thai. Not fancy but delicious. If you like new experiences or remember old memories , you should try it . (Monday's close)
() PLACE Looked like a very ordinary fast food place. STAFF Were really warm and friendly. FOOD Delicious and unique. There were items that could be veganised upon request. PRICE Could've been lower. OVERALL Interesting to find a Thai place located there. I would recommend you trying it out at least once.
When I saw the restaurant menu, I became surprised. You can order some rare seafoods: "Oysters" and "Kalamari". Amazing! I have lived in Thailand for a year, and I can say honestly that the quality of the Jaran's Thai restaurant is same as Thailand. Last week we had lunch at Thaifood restaurant located in Sadat Abad, but I prefer Jaran's quality.
