It was nice to see costumes from historic photos up close, but the museum overall needs an update with regards to presentation and interactiveness.
One of the palaces of Saad abad complex in which once Shams Pahlavi, sister of the Shah, lived. It's a museum of clothes of royal family including Reza Shah, his son and wife and of course Queen Farah and clothes of Qajar era.
This Friday, I visited this historical significance place. The things related to the ruling family before the Iranian Revolution have been very well protected. Apparel related to Princess Shams specially preserved in this palace. If you are interested in history; you must visit the palace.
Sadabaad Palace is one of those magical places that will you'll never forget! It's a huge and lovely palace with many unique and beautiful museums. You need to spend a full day to get the most of it. This palace was one of the palaces of the last king of Iran and now has become a well known museum complex. It definitely worth a visit and is a must see places in Tehran. There are some good restaurants along the river at the heart of the complex where you can enjoy launch in a special way.
I don't know when it was a palace?! It was great house before.
