Worth going the distance, the Argh-e Bam is an impressive and unique piece of history. Even though many sources claim it is only the shadow of what used to be before the massive earthquake of 2003, the place is definitely worth a visit. The city is rather quiet, but there is so few tourism that taxi drivers are on the hunt to scam foreigners.

Beautiful unesco world Heritage Site in Bam kerman province, Iran. It is beautiful mud citadel. Walking through it give you fairytale feelings. It is used to be very impressive before it got destroyed in an earthquake in 2003. Organizations have been restoring for years. All I can say is that the place is magical, breathtaking, absolutely worth visiting. Keep this place on you list.
The biggest brick-made citadel from the era of sasanid empire in iran. Magnificent glorious structure. Big enough to be an ancient city. Unfortunately was almost completely ruined by 2004 bam earthquake but some parts has been under reconstruction.
The Arg-e Bam, the world's largest brick building, is one of the most important and most valuable historical landmarks of Iran. The predecessors of this massive historical complex built on a large rock near Bam city in Kerman province.
The Bam Citadel Is the largest adobe building in the world, located in Bam, southeastern Iran. The entire building was a large fortress containing the citadel(Arg_e Bam), but because of the impressive look of the citadel, which forms the highest point, the entire fortress is named the Bam Citadel. The origin of this enormous citadel on the Silk Road can be traced back to the Achaemenid Empire (sixth to fourth centuries BC) and even beyond. The heyday of the citadel was from the seventh to eleventh centuries. The area of Bam Citadel is approximately 180,000 square meters (44 acres), and it is surrounded by gigantic walls 6–7 metres (20–23 ft) high and 1,815 metres (5,955 ft) long. On December 26, 2003 at 5:26 AM local time, Bam was struck by a major earthquake and the Citadel was almost completely destroyed. (8th photo is before the earthquake, and the 7th photo is after the earthquake) A few days after the earthquake, the President of Iran announced that the Citadel would be rebuilt. The earthquake killed about 26,200 people, injured thousands and left more than 75,000 homeless. It is listed by UNESCO as part of the World Heritage Site "Bam and its Cultural Landscape".

When I was taking a short stroll around this area, I kept hearing sound effects that sound like BAM! WHOOSH! BABOOSH! It was so annoying I had to go out of this area because of the super loud noises that are being emitted but like the place is stunning!
Realy nice place. The biggest castle all around the world. But, unfortunetly earthquick destroyed it in 2003. You can find a drink store. And also you can take a photo at photographic studio with traditional clothes. Every year a lot of tourists come here from all around the world. You can hear Iraj Bastami's songs who died in Bam earthquick. I suggest here.
