Chairman: Dr. Mohammad Nahavandian Director General: Dr. Mehdi Fakheri The Islamic Chamber Research and Information Center was established in 2003, based on a Memorandum of Understanding between the Islamic Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (ICCIA), and Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC). ICRIC aims at trade and investment promotion among business communities is Islamic countries and worldwide. The purpose of ICRIC is: - to identify and analyze challenges and opportunities related to promotion of trade; - to assist small & medium enterprises in OIC countries ; - to organize seminars, workshops and training programs on economic issues ; - to design training programs for the ICCI in different sectors ; - to collect, compile and disseminate trade data among OIC Countries; - to develop relations with other training and research institutions; - to produce a wide range of reports, books and other publications.
