Pigeon houses are not only magnificent landmarks of architecture with respect to their vast geographical distribution but are also fascinating for their diversity in form and design. Like other Iranian architectural designs, pigeon houses serve multiple purposes ensemble and take a vast variety of forms and shapes. They represent a deep understanding of the local climate and environment on the part of the architect who created such amazing and eternal structures to serve man.
Best hamburger ever
Everybody must visit it and relaxing around it.
It's a good place for rest
It is a historical monument from 17th. century that there were farms around it and there were farms around it that the pigeons excrement would use as fertilizer for farms. It is amazing and vivid that still some pigeons have nests in this place. From roof you have view on the city and it is possible to see Naqsh-e Jahan square. Staircase is not standard in the tower, must pay attention and be careful! The bad smell inside is because of the excrement of the pigeons.
If you don't have time to explore pigeon towers in the west esfahan, you can visit this one right at the south side of the city, at one of the thoroughfare at the main street. The conical tower is simple at outlook but the interior is amazing with the lighting effect. Climb upto the top of the tower will give u a good view nearby. No entrance fee is required.
amazing tower with hundreds of pigeons.
