Nice place too stay with amazing hosts. They are very friendly and intellectual. Their neighbour prepares organic home made food for dinner. We came with a group, so they also provided a free tour in the rocky village. Our group liked this stay very much.

Well, first of all, I should say that I want to present to you a beautiful village that named Meymand. actually, I have staied a night in my last juerney. Meymand is very ancient village which is located near Shahr_e Babak cityin Kerman Provience. Meymand is belived to be a primery human residence in the Iranian Plateau, dating back to 12000 years ago.

Maymand is a unique setting and a UNESCO listed cultural landscape site. And Maymandmoon Ecolodge is an oasis to experience authentic lifestyle of this troglodyte village. Pejman & Masoud were the great hosts who showed us the rocky village, Saraghol(corral part), Eshkaft(cave wall paintings, the initial settlement and Mehri Religion embodiment). Moreover they have an awesome gift shop where you can purchase their own designed handicraft. And the food.. Boz Ghormeh is something definitely not to miss... Overall Maymand is a mesmerizing spot to spend some days and nights.
