if you are in this city it is one of the place that you should visit. but don't expect anything fancy here due to some reason there is not so much development here. according to the religious sources Daniel was one of the prophets of gods.

Daniel is one of our prophets who his tomb is located in Susa in Khuzestan province and near Shaur River. He lived in Babylon at the time of Nebokad Nasr the king of Babylon. He was the minister in time of Syrus The Great. Daniel's tomb is located in Susa with a very nice and specific architecture.

I highly recomend coming there to visit Daniel the prophet's shrine, next to it there is ald ancient shush, also worth to visit despite no much was left. It is worth just to stand there and let history speak to You! People are very friendly and can help you to move araoud just to spend time with visitors. I was amazed by hospitality of Iranians

What is the point of visiting this place. Did Daniel even exist? He is supposed to be a Jewish Prophet but the place is run completely Islamic and women have to wear a "chador" which is an overall veil just to go into the courtyard.

Interesting always! If you arrive there in during Miharram, you will hear people say "Ah, Daniel! Cry for the innocent Hossain!" while Daniel is a Jewish prophet. This is the real Dialogue among Civilizations.
